Job Description
We're seeking expressions of interest from experienced Mechanical Fitters who would be interested in upcoming opportunities with a leading rail industry organisation.

seeking skilled professionals to contribute to innovative projects that enhance
passenger experiences and promote sustainable mobility. This position offers
the opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure and digital mobility
systems, including high-speed trains, metros, and trams.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Interpret, understand, and
apply technical drawings and engineering documentation to perform vehicle
modifications and upgrades.
Execute engineering work
instructions to ensure all modifications meet required technical
specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams and support functions to identify opportunities for
continuous improvement and process optimisation.
Apply advanced
problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve challenges within a
manufacturing environment.
Complete all required
quality, planning, and system documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to internal special
processes, including soldering, torquing, and other controlled manufacturing
procedures.
Your Profile
To be
- eligible for the role, you should possess the following qualifications and
- attributes:
- Minimum 2-3
- years' experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, commissioning, rail, or
- industrial environment.
- Trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent) in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated
- experience performing functional, performance, and safety testing on rail
- vehicles, rolling stock, or industrial equipment.
- Proficient
- in the use of diagnostic tools, test equipment, and systematic fault-finding
- techniques to identify and resolve technical issues.
