Storeperson Required

Our

client a well-established business located in Newcastle is seeking an

experienced and reliable Storeperson

/ Forklift Operator to join their team.

This is a hands-on

warehouse role responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, handling and

dispatch of goods while supporting smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.

• Responsibilities
• Receive,
• inspect and accurately store incoming goods
• Pick, pack and
• dispatch customer orders
• Safely load and
• unload trucks
• Operate
• forklifts and warehouse equipment in accordance with safety procedures
• Conduct stock
• control activities and inventory checks
• Investigate and
• resolve stock discrepancies
• Assist with
• maintaining warehouse organisation and cleanliness
• Liaise with
• suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding stock and
• warehouse matters
• Complete
• warehouse documentation accurately and on time
• Follow all
• workplace health and safety policies and procedures
• Your Profile
• Minimum 3
• years' experience in a warehouse or storeperson role
• Current

Forklift Licence (LF)

• Strong
• understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
• Ability to
• accurately receive, store and dispatch stock
• Experience
• using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent
• communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work
• effectively within a team environment

Ideal candidates will also have

• Experience with
• purchasing or inventory control systems
• Exposure to ERP
• or warehouse management software
• Previous
• experience within industrial, manufacturing, wholesale or distribution
• environments
