**The Role**
------------
As a senior leader within the tax practice, you will oversee both **technical tax work and client advisory relationships** while helping guide the development of the firm’s tax team.
Key responsibilities include
- Overseeing **tax compliance and planning** for business entities, high-net-worth individuals, and estates
- Reviewing and approving **complex tax returns** to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Providing **strategic tax planning and advisory services** to clients
- Mentoring and developing **staff and managers within the tax department**
- Maintaining and strengthening **long-term client relationships**
- Staying current with **federal and state tax law changes** and implementing best practices
- Supporting firm leadership with **practice growth and operational improvements**
**Qualifications**
------------------
- **CPA license required**
- **10+ years of public accounting tax experience**
- Strong technical knowledge of **federal and state tax regulations**
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing engagements
- Proven leadership ability and experience mentoring staff
- Excellent client relationship and advisory skills
- Master’s in Taxation (preferred but not required)
