You will work closely with managers, employees, Health & Safety representatives and other stakeholders to build capacity and support a positive, proactive culture where health, safety and wellbeing are part of how we work every day.
About the role
As our Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead, you will

- Coordinate the annual HSW training programme and deliver training within your area of expertise.
- Support our Health & Safety Representatives and coordinate Health & Safety Committee meetings and actions.
- Develop practical tools and resources to help managers and employees understand and meet their HSW responsibilities.
- Prepare meaningful monthly HSW reporting for the People & Culture Board Committee and Board, identifying trends, key risks and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor legislative and industry developments and provide guidance on emerging HSW requirements.
- Support culturally safe and inclusive practices that recognise Te Tiriti o Waitangi, equity and diversity.
- About you
- We are looking for someone who can balance strategic oversight with practical, hands-on support.
