Internal Sales Engineer - Graduate Opportunity
Job Description
The Role:
As an Internal Sales Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our HVAC business, supporting our wider HVAC sales team on a diverse range of HVAC projects. From RAC and PAC solutions to advanced VRF systems, flagship chiller and commercial hot water systems, you’ll help design, scope, and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to blend your technical expertise with customer-facing impact, contributing to projects that directly shape sustainable, energy-efficient environments across New Zealand.
What You’ll Do:
Learn from industry experts while supporting commercial HVAC projects (VRF, chillers, hot water heat pumps, RAC/PAC).
Prepare quotations, schematics, and technical submissions for exciting projects across NZ.
Build strong customer relationships while developing your technical and project skills.
Gain in-depth knowledge of Mitsubishi Electric’s world-class product range.
What We’re Looking For:
A recently completed, or soon-to-be-completed, qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related engineering or trade qualification. You will be someone who will thrive in a collaborative, customer-focused environment and is motivated to learn, grow, and innovate with a passion for sustainability and technology.
You’ll bring
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Confidence in Microsoft Office (AutoCAD is a bonus).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
It would be an advantage, but isn't essential, if you have:
An understanding of HVAC systems or building services engineering.
Relevant work experience, internships or university projects involving mechanical systems.
