Seipp Construction is looking for an experienced Structures Foreman to lead the structures crew on our East Clive Wastewater Outfall Project in Hastings.

It’s a technically challenging project with a lasting purpose: infrastructure that supports healthier communities. You’ll bring the practical experience, planning and leadership needed to turn drawings and programme commitments into quality work on site.

The opportunity

Seipp self-performs much of our work. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and project leaders, with direct involvement in planning the work and making it happen.

The wider project includes specialist piling, complex dewatering, large-diameter pipeline installation and major mechanical works. Your focus will be leading the structures activities safely, efficiently and to specification.

This is a fixed-term role starting as soon as possible and ending on 5 February 2027, supporting the structures work on the project.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of structures work, including:

• Planning and supervising formwork, reinforcing and concrete placement.
• Leading the crew with clear expectations and practical direction.
• Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Working with engineers and project managers to plan upcoming activities and resolve constraints.
• Reading drawings and specifications and checking work meets requirements.
• Coordinating inspections and quality checks before work progresses.
• Running pre-starts and making sure safe work methods are understood and followed.
• Monitoring productivity and progress against the programme.
• Coaching your team and addressing issues early.

You’ll be an experienced Structures Foreman who knows how to organise a job and earn the respect of a crew.

You’ll have

• Proven experience leading concrete structures work on civil infrastructure or comparable projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of formwork, reinforcing and concrete construction.
• The ability to plan ahead and coordinate resources effectively.
• A practical approach to solving problems without compromising safety or quality.
• Clear communication and the confidence to hold people accountable.
