Transportation Driver

The Transportation Driver will be responsible for providing transport for Blackberry Mountain employees to various locations on property. The Driver will also be responsible for the cleanliness and routine maintenance of Blackberry Mountain transportation vehicles to include the employee shuttle, Lexus vehicles, housekeeping vans, and maintenance trucks as needed. The Driver will provide a safe, clean, and friendly experience for all employees that are transported in Blackberry Mountain transportation vehicles.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Strong self-motivator and ability to motivate others
• Review daily schedules to determine employee transportation needs
• Maintain a calm and courteous attitude to ensure employee satisfaction
• Ability to effectively communicate accurate information to other team members
• Observe property for cleanliness and all is in order
• Assist with parking and pulling around vehicles
• Ensure that employee shuttle is washed daily
• Meet and exceed all guest requests
• Maintain safe speeds on roadways based on weather
• Set up/ take down of outdoor functions
• Flexibility with scheduling for weekends and holidays
• Have great knowledge of property and all the activities it has to offer
• Follow instructions from direct supervisor
• Assist guest and employees with questions
• Greet employees in a positive and polite manner
• Provide safe transportation for on property or off property activities
• Assist all other departments to meet the guest needs
• Secondary duties to provide transportation for guests as needed, including travel to the airport
• Must be able to be flexible in scheduling
• Hours may require early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Maintain a courteous, flexible, and positive attitude
• Be familiar with all of Blackberry Mountain past, present, and future

**Must comply with all company policies and procedures.**

**To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.**

**Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.**

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• None

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hospitality experience required
• Must have a valid driver’s license

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

• Must be able to communicate effectively with guest, team members and managers

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**

• Basic knowledge and understanding of math

**REASONING ABILITY**

• Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

• Must be able to sit and drive company vehicle for 90% of shift
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

• 5,200 acres of Blackberry Mountain property
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
